Vantip (vantip.com) is operated by Claudiu Ciprian Dan, a sole trader registered in Austria, at Perfektastrasse 21/2/23, 1230 Vienna, Austria. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Claudiu Ciprian Dan is the data controller for personal data collected through Vantip. Account data: your email address and an encrypted password, handled by our authentication provider, Supabase. Subscription and billing data: your subscription tier and Stripe customer reference. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our own servers. Usage data: saved tips, dashboard activity, and — if you choose to link it — your Telegram account ID, used only to deliver the notifications you asked for. Usage and advertising statistics: when you click a partner (affiliate) link, we log which partner and page it came from, whether you were signed in, and your country (derived from your IP address; we do not store the IP address itself in this log). We also keep an anonymous, real-time count of how many visitors are online, which uses a random identifier and no personal data. Push notifications and messages: if you opt in to browser push notifications, we store the subscription details your browser provides so we can send them. If our team sends you a direct message through your Vantip account, we store that conversation. Newsletter data: if you subscribe via the footer form, we store your email, subscription status, and a timestamp/IP address as proof of your double opt-in consent, as required by anti-spam law. Tipster data: if you work with Vantip as a tipster, we also keep the work you submit (original tips and polished drafts), our approval decisions, and the records needed to pay you — the amounts due and paid each month and the payout details you give us. Your tipster display name, photo and tip results are shown publicly as part of your track record. To provide the subscription service you asked for — performance of our contract with you. The same basis applies to engaging and paying tipsters under our Tipster Terms. To send newsletter and marketing email — your consent, given via double opt-in, which you can withdraw at any time. To keep the platform secure, measure partner-link clicks and improve the service — our legitimate interest, balanced against your rights. To load third-party advertising content and to send push notifications — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see our Cookie Policy). To meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations — legal obligation.
We use the following processors to run Vantip. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. • Supabase (hosted in Ireland, EU) — database, authentication, and account storage • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing • Resend — transactional email (welcome, receipts, notifications) and the newsletter • Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure • Telegram — only if you choose to link your account, to deliver tip notifications; Telegram processes those messages under its own privacy policy • Advertising networks (BetWinner and A-ADS) — banner content is loaded from their servers only if you accept advertising cookies; they may receive your IP address and technical information and process it under their own privacy policies • Your browser's push service (Google, Apple or Mozilla) — only if you enable push notifications • Anthropic (Claude API) — generates tip analysis text from sports fixture and odds data; it does not receive your account, email, or payment information We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or Meta/Facebook Pixel. The only analytics we use is Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors. The advertising networks listed above are third parties acting for their own purposes; they are loaded only with your consent.
Our database is hosted in the EU (Ireland). Some of our processors — Stripe, Vercel, Anthropic, and Telegram — are based in or operate servers in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on those providers' Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
We use essential cookies (to keep you logged in and to remember your cookie choice and odds-format preference). Third-party advertising content, which may set its own cookies, is loaded only if you click "Accept" in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Tipster payment records are kept for as long as Austrian tax and accounting law requires. If you delete your account or ask us to, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep certain records for longer (for example, billing records for tax purposes). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period afterward to maintain proof of consent/unsubscribe for compliance purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@vantip.com — we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at), or with the data protection authority in your own EU/EEA country of residence.
Vantip is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service or the law changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
