Vantip (vantip.com) is operated by Claudiu Ciprian Dan, a sole trader registered in Austria, at Perfektastrasse 21/2/23, 1230 Vienna, Austria. For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Claudiu Ciprian Dan is the data controller for personal data collected through Vantip. Account data: your email address and an encrypted password, handled by our authentication provider, Supabase. Subscription and billing data: your subscription tier and Stripe customer reference. Card details are entered directly into Stripe and never reach our own servers. Usage data: saved tips, dashboard activity, and — if you choose to link it — your Telegram account ID, used only to deliver the notifications you asked for. Newsletter data: if you subscribe via the footer form, we store your email, subscription status, and a timestamp/IP address as proof of your double opt-in consent, as required by anti-spam law. Support correspondence: anything you email to us at hello@vantip.com, support@vantip.com, or billing@vantip.com.
To provide the subscription service you asked for — performance of our contract with you. To send newsletter and marketing email — your consent, given via double opt-in, which you can withdraw at any time. To keep the platform secure and improve it — our legitimate interest, balanced against your rights. To meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations — legal obligation.
We use the following processors to run Vantip. None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. • Supabase (hosted in Ireland, EU) — database, authentication, and account storage • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing • Resend — transactional email (welcome, receipts, notifications) and the newsletter • Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure • Telegram — only if you choose to link your account, to deliver tip notifications; Telegram processes those messages under its own privacy policy • Anthropic (Claude API) — generates tip analysis text from sports fixture and odds data; it does not receive your account, email, or payment information We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or cross-site tracking network. The only analytics we use is Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors.
Our database is hosted in the EU (Ireland). Some of our processors — Stripe, Vercel, Anthropic, and Telegram — are based in or operate servers in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on those providers' Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep certain records for longer (for example, billing records for tax purposes). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe, plus a short period afterward to maintain proof of consent/unsubscribe for compliance purposes.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@vantip.com — we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at), or with the data protection authority in your own EU/EEA country of residence.
Vantip is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service or the law changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
